DISPLAY DEVICE FOR OPERATION KEY OF ON-VEHICLE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To facilitate operation of the titled device and to simplify the application for users, by adding an operating method display means to the display device, and displaying with interruption the available keys and their functions on a display. CONSTITUTION:A display device (a) and a memory means (b) storing the data on operation keys for operations of various equipments set on a vehicle are connected to a control means (d) of an operation key display device for equipment set on a vehicle. Then a selection switch (c) which selects one of equipments set on a vehicle is connected to the means (d) together with an operating method display means (e). Thus the operation key data on the equipment set on the vehicle and selected by the switch (c) under the control of the means (d) is read out of the means (d) and then displayed with interruption on the means (e) as a screen key. Thus the application of the display device is simplified for users.
