摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the paintability, printability, adhesivity, etc. of a molded article made of ethylene-propylene copolymer or a blend polymer or polyethylene and polypropylene, by irradiating the surface of the article with low temperature plasma. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a molded article made of an ethylene-propylene copolymer or polyethylene-polypropylene blend polymer containing 1-35wt%, pref. 15-25wt% of ethylene unit and having a melt index 2.0-3.0 and an elastic modulus of 7,000-10,000kg/cm<2>, is irradiated with low temperature plasma generated by exciting a gas such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, etc. with glow discharge, high frequency discharge, etc. under a pressure of <=100mm.Hg pref. 0.1-10mm.Hg at an intensity of 100-60,000Wsec/l, pref. 200-30,000Wsec/l. The surface is polarized and roughened by the treatment.
