PURPOSE:To improve the reaction property, and improve a heavy load discharge and a light load discharge performances, by applying a mixture of an active manganese dioxide produced through a chemical treatment of a natural manganese dioxide as a source material, and a chemical manganese dioxide produced through a chemical synthesis, for a positive electrode active substance of a cell. CONSTITUTION:A maganese oxide produced by roasting a natural manganese dioxide is acid-treated to make an active manganese dioxide. To the produced active manganese dioxide, is mixed the same amount of high purity chemical manganese dioxide produced through a chemical synthesis, to use for the positive electrode function substance for a manganese cell. The reaction of the active manganese dioxide is enhanced by the high purity of the chemical manganese dioxide produced through the chemical synthesis, and both the light load discharge and the heavy load discharge performances are improved. |
