PURPOSE:To reduce a liquid leakage amount by dividing a casing into fixed and movable casings, interconnecting both casings with an expansible joint and making the latter casing integral with an expansible rotor to reduce a difference of elongation between the casing and rotor. CONSTITUTION:While a casing 1 is constituted to be divided into a fixed casing 20 and a movable casing 21, both casings are connected to each other with an expansible joint. The fixed casing 20 is fixed to a foundation 3 and the movable casing 21 is constituted to move axially integrally with the elongation of a rotor 13. Further, an end of the rotor 13 is detachable supported on the rear end of the fixed casing 20 through a first thrust bearing 18, while the other end of the rotor 13 is detachably supported on the movable casing through a second thrust bearing 21. In said constitution, an axial difference of elongation between the casing 1 and rotor 13 in running is not enlarged to prevent fluid flow from a gap between an end of dynamic vane 12 and the casing 1 from increase and achieve the high performance of the compressor.
