PURPOSE:To easily reduce ineffective strokes of a brake booster device having a valve body whose shaft section is provided therein with a hub formed therein with a valve seat in a valve mechanism, by using keys for engaging the hub in the valve body and for checking a valve plunger from coming off from the hub. CONSTITUTION:In a brake booster device, the inside of a closed container composed of shells 1, 2 is divided into two front chambers 4, 5, and a valve body 6 is slidably disposed in the center section of the booster device. The valve body 6 is coupled with front and rear pistons 9, 10 with which the chambers 4, 5 are each divided into two chambers A, B; C, D. In this arrangement, the valve body 6 is inserted therein with a bifurcated key member 22 which is engaged in an annular groove 15c in the hub 15 and therefore, both 6, 15 are integrally incorporated with each other. Further, a key member 48 is inserted in a variable pressure passage 34 formed in the valve body 6, and is engaged with the valve plunger 17 to aim at checking the latter from coming off. |
