PURPOSE:To obtain stable product quality by using upper flow passages respectively haing a small ara and lower flow passages respectively having a large area to form a pair of runners which are branched on the downstream side of a pouring port communicated with at least a pair of product cavities in dies thereby regulating the flow of a molten metal on the upstream side of the runners and decreasing the flow rate on the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:When a molten metal is poured into dies through a pouring port, the molten metal is branched at the branch point 3a on the lower side and is conducted via each runner 4 to the inside of product cavities 2. The runners 4 are narrowed on the upstream side thereof and the flow of the molten metal is regulated by flow passages 5 having a small area and extending in a vertical direction, by which the molten metal is conducted downward. The downstream side thereof are flow passages 6 which are expanded broadly in vertical and transverse direction to a large area and extend in a horizontal direction and therefore the molten metal is conducted at the decreased flow rate to the product spaces 2. The temp. stabilizes during this time and the oxide, etc. are settled, by which the inflow of the oxide, etc. are prevented from entering the cavities 2. The flow passages 6 made to have large volume generate a riser effect and prevent a defect such as a blowhole or the like. |
