发明名称 DIFFERENTIAL GEAR, ESPECIALLY FOR DRIVING AXLES OF VEHICLES
摘要
The invention solves the problem of self-acting increase of internal friction of the differential gear after exceeding the limit value of the ratio of rotational speeds of driven axle shafts of the vehicle. The increase of internal friction brings about the increase of driving force in ground driving, whereas its dependence on the ratio of rotational speeds of axle shafts causes that the friction is of short duration and occurs only at moments when one of wheels begins to skid. the gear comprises a friction clutch consisting of an external hub /1/ connected with the housing of the differential gear /2/, an internal hub /3/ mounted rotatably in the said housing, and compressed friction disks /4, 5/. On the driven axle shaft /7/ a polygonal sleeve /8/ is mounted non-rotatably, between the walls of which and the cylindrical surface of the internal hub /3/ rollers /9/ are placed with radial clearance, which are held by a cage /10/ provided with a friction flange pressed down to the external hub /1/ coupled with the housing of the differential gear /2/ by disk springs /14/ through the intermediary of the pressure disk /13/. The pressure disk /13/ contacts with ends of followers /15/, the opposite ends of which abut on the frontal cam /16/ fixed non-rotatably in relation to the housing of the driving axle. he cage /10/ is mounted rotatably on the cylindrical part of the polygonal sleeve /8/, in which radial blind holes are made and therein, springs /11/ and balls /12/ are placed abutting on-the roof shaped recesses in the cage /10/. The invention is intended for driving axles of vehicles. Its use is advisable especially in ground motor-cars and lorries, vehicles used in agriculture and forestry and self-propelled machines.
