PURPOSE:To enhance control accuracy by eliminating detection delay, by a method wherein a fixed magnet and a movable magnet are arranged so that the like polarity sides of both magnets are opposed to each other and the movement of the movable magnet is detected by the electrode late provided to one end side of the moving range of said movable magnet. CONSTITUTION:A fixed magnet 5 is fixed to the bottom surface of the magnet casing 2 fixed to a car body so as to be inclined at an angle theta relative to horizontality and a movable magnet 6 is arranged in a space 4 so that the like polarity sides of both magnets 5, 6 are opposed to each other. During the stoppage or steady running of a vehicle, the magnet 6 is contacted with one inner end surface 3 of the casing 2 by gravitational action. A coil 8 is mounted in the coil casing 3 provided to the other end side of the casing 2 and electrode plates 9a, 9b insulated by an insulated material 10 are arranged inside said coil 8. When the brake pedal of the vehicle is stepped, the coil 8 is excited and, when the deceleration of the vehicle reaches a predetermined value, the magnet 6 moves by inertia to be attracted by the magnetized electrode plates 9a, 9b. The electrode plates 9a, 9b are brought to a continuity state through the electrode plate 7 adhered to the magnet 6 to excite a control solenoid valve.
