发明名称 STEERING CONTROL DEVICE FOR UNMANNED CARRIER
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the plant soil resistance and to avoid the easy deviation form a prescribed course for an unmanned carrier, by providing both a video type controller and a controller of an electromagnetic induction type, etc., to the carrier and also using a switching device between both controllers. CONSTITUTION:A driving image pickup line 5 having the width and indicating the driving course of an unmanned carrier 1 is picked up by a CCD camera 7 set to the carrier 1. The images obtained by the camera 7 are processed for confirmation of the line 5. In such a way, a video type controller performs the steering control of the carrier 1. While an electromagnetic induction type controller detects a driving guide electric wire 3 indicating the course of the carrier 1 by a pickup coil 10 for detection of the relative position between the carrier 1 and the wire 3 and performs the steering control of the carrier 1 along the wire 3. These two types of controllers are provided to the carrier 1 and one of both controllers is selected by a switching device when the carrier 1 reaches a junction place J of the line 5 and the wire 3.
