GASEOUS HYDROGEN CHLORIDE REMOVER FOR BLAST FURNACE GAS ENERGY RECOVERING PLANT

PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of the piping by HCl on the down stream of a furnace top pressure turbine by removing dust from a blast furnace top gas then driving the furnace top pressure turbine by said gas to recover the pressure energy and supplying the gas via an HCl remover to a gas holder. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas of a high temp. and high pressure emitted from the top of a blast furnace 1 is passed through a dust catcher 4 and a dry dust remover 5 by which the suspended dust in the exhaust gas is removed and thereafter the furnace top pressure turbine 6 is driven by the gas to generate electricity. The gas emitted from the turbine 6 is introduced into the HCl remover 7 where the dust 13 removed in the dust catcher 4 and the dry dust remover 5 is incorporated into water by a dust mixer 11 and cleaning water 9 prepd. in such a manner is sprayed to the gas to remove the CHl in the gas. The gas is then supplied to the gas holder 8. The corrosion of the piping by HCl on the down stream of the turbine 6 is prevented.
