The device shuts off the rear end of a load surface, and has a canopy movable forwards and backwards so as to expose or cover the surface. The canopy is associated with front and rear trucks (12,13) travelling along the sides, there being a detachable coupling (22,25) between the trucks. The trucks support a linkage (19) coupled to an end shutter (34-37), which when folded down joins onto the rear end of the load surface. When the rear truck is moved rearwards in relation to the front one the shutter down is folded down. |
