PURPOSE:To remove an unnecessary inductance component and an unnecessary capacity component between a head and a head amplifier by mounting an electronic circuit on the head. CONSTITUTION:A rotating type magnetic recording and reproducing device is integrally formed by directly mounting the electronic circuit 2 such as the head amplifier 3 on the head 1. At the time of recording, a recording and reproducing switching signal 6 turning ON a recording and reproducing switching circuit 4 is given to said circuit 4. And an input signal becomes a recording signal in a recording signal processing circuit 7. At the time of reproduction, a power source is given to the head amplifier 3, and the recording and reproducing switching signal 6 turning OFF said circuit 4 is given to the circuit 4. Thus the unnecessary inductance and capacity components between the head and amplifier can be eliminated to widen a signal transmission band. The winding number of head coils can be increased by the quantity as is found to be a reduction in said inductance component between the head and the head amplifier without changing the signal transmission band, thereby boosting a reproduction voltage. Accordingly the S/N of a reproduction signal can be improved. |
