PURPOSE:To prevent the tumbling of a bearing and to fix the bearing to a holder precisely and surely by forming the periphery of the part where the bearing of the optical system holder is arranged with an UV ray transmitting member, and bonding the optical system holder and the bearing with an UV curing adhesive. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 62 for condensing laser light on the surface of a recording medium is provided to a lens holder 48, and the objective lens 62 is provided at a position corresponding to the through hole of a pedestal 14. The peripheral part of the bearing 6 is formed with a member 64 consisting of an UV ray transmitting resin in the lens holder 48. An insertion hole 66 for inserting the bearing 6 is provided at the annular central part of the member 64, and the insertion hole 66 and the bearing 6 are engaged so that an interval 68 is provided. The UV curing resin 70 which is cured by the irradiation of UV rays is packed in the interval 68. Consequently, the fixing can be precisely ensured, and the sliding and rotation of the lens holder on the supporting shaft can be made smooth and stable. |
