PURPOSE:To drive an objective lens precisely and smoothly by coiling a coil in circular form in the face parallel to the face including an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:In an optical system driving device 12, a lens holder 48 which is held so as to be restored to the neutral position by a neutral point retainer 32, and a bearing 1 is furnished at the central part of the lens holder 48. A supporting shaft 24 provided on a pedestal 14 is pieced through the bearing 1, and the lens holder 48 is made free to rotate around the supporting shaft 28 and to slide in the axial direction of the supporting shaft 24. The lens holder 48 is provided with tracking coils 54 and 56 obtained by circularly winding a lead wire on the opposite side parts of the holder 48. Since the radius of curvature R of the coils 54 and 56 is made larger than before and the whole coil is circularly formed, the irregular winding and breakage of the lead wire when the lead wire is wound are reduced, and precise and regular winding is made possible. Consequently, a regular magnetic field can be generated, and the lens holder is precisely driven. |
