PURPOSE:To secure a fast and stable file operation by providing the 1st memory which stores the files transferred from an auxiliary memory device and the 2nd memory for back-up of files. CONSTITUTION:When an operator designates a file name through a keyboard 8, a CPU7 retrieves the corresponding file out of a magnetic disk device 2 via a large-scale computer 1 to decide the presence or absence of said file. When the file exists, it is transferred to the 1st memory 11. While an error message is displayed if said file is not confirmed. Then the operation is reset to a normal routine. In case the computer has the breakdown owing to the service interruption, etc., while the file is operated on the memory 11, the battery back-up processing is carried out for each circuit. At the same time, the file under operation is forcibly finished. The the relevant file is copied and stored temporarily in the 2nd memory 12 like a floppy disk, etc. |
