ABNORMALITY PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR BACK-END PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a system by controlling a circuit which indicates the abnormality of a back-end processor and an interface circuit by a processor for maintenance diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:The processor 5 for maintenance analysis is connected to the abnormality indicating circuit 21 of an adapter device 2 by a connection line B and also connected to the interface circuit 22 of a host processor 3 by a connection line A. The processor 5 for maintenance diagnosis receives abnormality information on the back-end processor 1 and monitors the operation state of the back-end processor at any time. Various programs corresponding to the abnormality information are stored in the processor for maintenance diagnosis and when a process at the time of abnormality occurrence, e.g. disconnection processing by normal processing, an interface circuit 22 is interrupted directly to perform a stored operation sequence stored.
