PURPOSE:To supply the clock signal to a CPU without replacing the oscillation means by dividing the clock signal supplied from an oscillation means according to a dividing ration designated by an input means. CONSTITUTION:The clock signal CRS-a delivered from an oscillator 11 is supplied to a divider 13. The divider 13 varies the dividing ratio based on the input data IPD to change the frequency of the clock signal CRSb. The signal CRSb produced by the divider 13 is supplied to a JKFF17 and the JKFF17 divides the signal CRSb into two parts, for example, to deliver it as the clock signal CRSc. This signal CRSc is applied to a clock generator 16 and the generator 16 divides the signal CRSc into four parts, for example, to supply them to a CPU12. Thus it is possible to vary the clock signal supplied to the CPU without replacing the oscillators.
