TOUCH INPUT PANEL

PURPOSE:To reduce a resistance value in a touch conduction mode by drawing out a lead wire after short-circuiting both ends of the band-shaped resistance film which is electrically divided. CONSTITUTION:The (n) pieces of electrodes which are obtained by vapor depositing a transparent conductive material to a transparent polyester film in a belt from are arrayed longitudinally with electrical insulation. Then the two lead wires drawn out of both ends of each of electrodes 1-n are connected to terminals X1-Xn respectively. In such a constitution, a movable electrode is obtained. For a fixed electrode the electrodes are arrayed laterally and the lead wires are connected to terminals Y1-Yn in the same way. These fixed and movable electrodes are set opposite to each other via an insulated spacer at the front of a display subject and above the display matter respectively. Thus a touch input panel is obtained. The conduction resistance obtained between both terminals X3 and Y2 when both areas X3 and Y2 of such input panel are touched is reduced by a certain amount owing to the electrodes set in parallel with each other at an electrode part.
