PURPOSE:To attain integrated control between the acceptance or orders and the delivery of articles to customers and to improve the order delivery efficiency, by providing an article delivering device containing lockers for refrigeration, heat insulation, etc. at a place where customers gather and distribute and delivering the ordered articles. CONSTITUTION:A customer receives an ID card storing a customer number, a personal identification number, etc. and registered previously on a center 2. When the customer gives an order to an order receiving office 1, a locker 6 is reserved at the center 2 and a collection/distribution command is delivered to a collection/distribution base 3. This command is stored in a cartridge 7 and loaded to the locker 6. Then the customer goes to the locker 6 on a designated date for reception and supplies the ID card and an identification number to a customer operating part 5. Thus an order list is displayed after a receiver is confirmed and the customer recognizes the order list to unlock the locker 6. When the customer takes out an article, this information is given to the center 2 to complete a transaction. Thus it is possible to perform integrated control including the ordering, delivery and reception of articles. |
