PURPOSE:The titled plant growth promoter that contains, as an active ingredient, readily available L-cysteine, thus effectively promoting plant growth, prolonging its living life and improving its activity and leaf gloss. CONSTITUTION:The promoter contains at least one selected from L-cysteine and L-cystine. The promoter is absorbed through plant roots or leaves to pro mote the living activity of the plant, stimulate root spread to allow the plant to grow taller with prolonged life. Thus, it is applied to plants, when the plant germs, or is implanted, by spraying it to roots or leaves. The promoter is given to plants in the form of an aqueous solution and its preferable concentration in the solution is 5-100ppm, preferably 10-30ppm. When desired, other growth regulators, vitamins, fertilizers may be mixed, further, carriers and auxiliary agents also may be combined to form a preparation such as aqueous solution or suspension.
