摘要 PURPOSE:To give high image density, visualize a uniformly color forming image and enable smooth stripping of a transfer sheet and a receptive sheet by using a special phenolic material as a developer and providing an undercoat layer consisting of an inorganic or organic filler and a resin in a receptive layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of phenolic material represented by a general formula (I) or (II) is used as a developer, and at the same time, an undercoat layer consisting of an inorganic or organic filler and a resin is provided in a receptive layer. In the formula, x represents the alkyl group or a halogen atom, n an integer of 0 or 1-5, m an integer of 0 or 1-7, and n and m an integer of 2 or more. In this case, x may be the same or a different group. By using the compound of the general formula (I) or (II), a color-forming image of high density having high thermal response and excellent color-forming property at low energy is obtained. An undercoat layer consisting of an inorganic or organic filler and a resin is laid on a receptive sheet, so that a melting material is well absorbed into the undercoat layer. Thus the transfer sheet and receptive sheet are stripped off smoothly and subsequently a uniformly color-forming image of high density is obtained.
