PURPOSE:To prevent generation of di-valent insulating lead compound on the interface of core of grid and active material in drying process after formation to improve voltage performance in instant discharge by using a positive plate having a grid or core comprising antimony or calcium type alloy containing aluminum and tin. CONSTITUTION:In a positive plate having a grid or core comprising antimony or calcium type alloy, a lead alloy containing aluminum and tin is used, and especially the content of aluminum is controlled to 0.003-0.03% and that of tin is controlled to 0.01-0.5%. Thereby, oxidation of lead alloy, especially oxidation in the existence of moisture is prevented by the synergetic effect of tin and aluminum. |
