NEW MATERIAL:An anthraquinone based dye expressed by the formula (R is alkyl to give >=350 molecular weight of the total dye). USE:A crimson red based dye for coloring and heat transfer of synthetic fibers and synthetic resins. PREPARATION:A 1-amino-2-halogeno-4-anthraquinone as a raw material is reacted with an alkylphenol and dehydrohalogenated, etc., by a well-known method to afford the aimed compound expressed by the formula.
