PURPOSE:A DNA which has base sequence coding polypeptide of aminoacid sequence of formula I, a kind of sarcotoxin IA (immune antibody) among antibacterial protein produced in lava of a flesh fly. CONSTITUTION:cDNA corresponding to Sarcotoxin IA, an antibacterial protein which is produced in body fluid of a flesh fly (Sarcophaga peregrina), when the larva is injured on its body surface, is successfully cloned. Further, the base sequence is determined and simultaneously, the aminoacid sequence of sarcotoxin IA has been elucidated. The aminoacid sequence is represented by formula I and the DNA coding the polypeptide is represented by formula II. |
