PURPOSE:To select each functional program (FP) by an initial task program (IT) and to execute the selected FP by a managing program (OS) by providing the initial task program in addition to the managing program originally provided. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU is started, OS1 is executed, then IT2 is executed, and at the same time, the state of setting of a switch 5 is checked. Depending on the state of the switch 5, selection is made as to which of FP3 and FP4 is to be executed, and by this selection, proceeded to execution of FP3, FP4 under control of OS1, and both or either of functions is executed. Thus, the function of each program can be realized by one CPU by using plural different objective programs already completed without making special alterations. Consequently, required man-hour can be decreased remarkably compared with the case where the program is prepared anew.
