PURPOSE:To aim at uniformizing the temperature of the vehicle compartment of a railway vehicle, with use of a ceiling installation type railway vehicle air-conditioning duct, by arranging a return air duct in the center section of the ceiling of a vehicle body and along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, while discharge air ducts are arranged on both outsides of the return air duct, and by discharging a conditioned air guide means in each discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A return air duct 2a is arranged in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and in the center section of the ceiling of a vehicle body and is connected to an air-conditioning device, and therefore, air in the passenger's compartment is introduced through a return port 3a and is led to an air-conditioning device. Further, discharge air ducts 1a are arranged on both outsides of the return duct 2a in order that conditioned air is fed from the air-conditioning device and is blown into the passenger's compartment through discharge ports 4a. In each discharge port 4a there is provided a guide plate 10 for blowing air toward the lower section of one side wall of the passenger's compartment. With this arrangement, it is possible to effectively uniform the temperature distribution in the passenger's compartment with a simple arrangement. |
