PURPOSE:To keep a stable pressure of helium gas for a long period within a sealed container by using the helium gas supplied from a high-pressure helium gas tank which is stored in a housing as a supply means for helium gas. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum state is once secured within a housing 7 and the helium gas is supplied into the housing 7 to secure a level under the atmosphere pressure, e.g., 0.1atm. While the helium gas of 0.3atm., for example, higher than the helium pressure in the housing 7 is previously supplied into a high- pressure helium tank 9. The helium gas in the tank 9 is diffused gradually into the housing 7 via a diffusing plate 10. Thus the helium pressure is kept at a fixed level within the housing 7. this prevents the unstable working of a sealed magnetic recording device that is caused by heat generated by the revolution of a magnetic disk 1 or the vibration of a magnetic head 3.
