PURPOSE:To save an energy of a pump and to reduce a coolant oil consumption, and also to obtain a good rolling state, based on a conversion to a constant temperature at the time of rolling, by controlling a coolant oil quantity to an optimum quantity in accordance with a rolling schedule at the time of cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:Signals of a plate width setting device 9 and a plate thickness difference setting device 10 are multiplied by an operator 11 and outputted to a computing element 12, and this output and an output of a speed detector 16 are multiplied by the computing element 12, and a signal of a mill volume speed is outputted to a function generator 13. A relation of a revolving speed and a discharge quantity of a pump 4 is not proportional in a low speed area, therefore, the generator 13 corrects an input/output relation and inputs it to a revolving speed controller 14, by which an output (mill volume speed) of the operator 12 and the pump discharge quantity become a proportional relation. By adding the outputs of the generator 13 and a constant setting device 22 by an adder and applying them to the controller 14, a discharge quantity of an optional prescribed quantity is added. In this way, a coolant oil of an optimum quantity is always supplied. |
