PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous recognition of coordinates by recognizing a point specified on a flat board plural times. CONSTITUTION:A controller for a copying machine is equipped with a control part 60 to which sensors S, a control part 100, a coordinate reader (editer) 70, etc., are connected. A lamp 62, and an optical motor 19 are controlled through an AC driver 61 and a motor control part 62. The editer 70 is constructed of a flat resistance reading directions X and Y, a pen built in a switch and an X/Y direction switching circuit 90 switching at the time of reading coordinates, and has area copying mode keys 91-98. When the editer 70 inputs coordinates, the control part 60 executes its coordinate input processing by turning on the pen switch. At that time, after reading the coordinates X and Y, the control part 60 again reads the coordinate X, and compares it with an initially read-out X signal. If they are not the same, they are handled as an invalid coordinate input. When the difference between them lies within the prescribed range, they are handled as an effective input. |
