PURPOSE:To prevent a card from inserting incorrectly without fail by constituting a device so that no spring force is given on only a pin for the prevention of an incorrect insertino out of pins at a card holder to which a memory card is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A memory card 1 has one incorrect insertion preventing pin hole 1a, and plural pin holes 1b for signal pins. A card holder 3 is formed approximately in a U-shape, and one incorrect insertion preventing pin 3a and plural signal pins 3b are implanted within the U-shaped holder. The device is constituted so that only the incorrect insertion preventing pin 3a has no spring property, and the signal pins 3b have the spring property to hold the memory card 1.
