PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency by giving one gear periodically changing revolutions based on a mode either increasing or decreasing speeds exponentially relative to the other gear. CONSTITUTION:An absolute value ¦omega2/omega1¦ of a ratio of an angular velocity omega2 of a second non-circular gear 21 to an angular velocity omega1 of a first non- circular gear 11 is expressed as a function F(theta) of the angular displacement thetaof the first non-circular gear 11. An engagement rotation section where a differential value K given by a theta-related differential equation K=dlogF(theta)/dtheta is arranged in a form of an engagement pitch curve between the first and second non-circular gears 11 and 21 in a range of 2pi radians of angular displacement thetaof the first non-circular gear 11. With this constitution, transmission efficiency can be improved.
