PURPOSE:To improve airtightness by arranging an interposed piece made of an elastic material between a contact member having a flat contact surface for closing a valve hole by contacting a valve seat and a supporting member. CONSTITUTION:A flat valve seat 33 is formed around a valve hole 32 which is an inlet of a passage 23 of a gate means 20. A gate 34, which is a valve body, is provided with a supporting member 35, a contact member 36, and an interposed piece 37 made of a material having resilience and interposed between the supporting member 35 and the contact member 36. When the gate means 20 is closed, a projection 46 of the interposed piece 37 comes into contact with the valve seat 33 to establish a secure seal. Accordingly, fluid on the downstream side is not forced out or sucked when the valve is opened or closed.
