PURPOSE:To omit a control circuit and miniaturize a motor and save power, by having a rotation stop position to be absolutely assigned to a yoke coil to which current is conducted. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a motor for a camera, suppos n=5 for example, a connected section 11c between two circular yoke pieces 11a, 11b facing each other at positions where two concentric circumferences are divided into n is wound up with a yoke coil YC, and a stator yoke 11 is formed. Four movable magnets 12A-12D with the circumference divided into (n-1) are arranged between the yoke pieces facing each other for five stator yokes 11A-11E, at each interval theta(theta=18 deg.), namely, 360 deg./{n.(n-1)} each. By such arrangement, by selecting five stator yokes, the absolute stop position of the movable magnets can be determined. If 11aa is set to be N and 11ab is set to be S, the 11A and the 12A face each other to stop, and if the 11ab is set to be S and the 11ab is set to be N, the 11A and the 12D face each other to stop.
