PURPOSE:To use an automatic reporting telephone as a general home telephone and transmit automatically preliminarily recorded contents to a preliminarily registered destination in case of emergency by providing an emergency signal discriminating means, a tuner part, a number storage circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:The emergency signal outputted from a portable small-sized transmitter is received by a tuner 1 and is demodulated by a demodulating circuit 2, and it is discriminated by a discriminating circuit 3 whether it is the emergency signal or not. If it is the emergency signal as the discrimination result, it is inputted to an input port of a CPU 4 to perform the processing of emergency report. That is, a preliminarily recorded message is transmitted through an EEPROM 19 where plural report destinations having priority levels are registered and stored preliminarily, a hook controller 21, an auto-dial circuit 20, etc. Thus, this telephone is used as a general home telephone through a telephone circuit 22 in the normal case, and preliminarily recorded contents are reported automatically to the preliminarily registered destination in case of emergency.
