PURPOSE:To shorten the reading time for defective loop information by providing plural boot loops within a specific block and using these loops selectively. CONSTITUTION:A boot loop is not provided to each block but plural boot loops (111, 112) are provided to a single block. Then one of these loops is used selectively and the defective loop information equivalent to plural blocks is stored in a selected loop. The number of blocks of information to be stored is decided according to the designing item. In such a way, the boot blocks are always included in a fixed clock. This eliminates such problems where the boot loops are included in different blocks according to the elements.
