摘要 PURPOSE:To enable accurate operation of an object to be measured during the operation in the normal and opposite directions and reduction in measuring time, by selecting a backlash level of an object to be measured depending on the direction of a counter changes while the timing of adding it to an output of the counter is detected and added to prevent sharp change in the output during the addition. CONSTITUTION:A unit 1 to be measured is driven with a driver 3 through a gear device 2 and the operation is measured with a measuring device 5. There is a backlash between the units 1 and 5. The condition of unit 5 is monitored with a unit 6 to generate opposite and normal-way detection signals 21 and 22 and in a backlash correction entry section from a memory 9, output gate signals 26 are issued from memories 7 and 8 to lock a counting output. A unit 10 outputs the backlash level from an output of the memory 9 and the results are added to the output of the unit 5 with an adder 11 to be compared with the output of a gate 13 by a comparator 12. A gate 13 is released by an comparison output, and an output of an adder 27 is inputted into a subtractor 15 to determine a deviation from an output of a reference value setter 14 and from the deviation, a speed reference 28 is outputted from a speed reference generator 16.
