A device preventing the rotation of a pushrod (7, 8), especially of a multi-bolt lock (1), in relation to a coupling piece (5, 6), to which the pushrod is screwed, comprises a pin (14) mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable in the coupling piece (sleeve 13) and having a bevelled end face (bevel 18). The end face of the pushrod (7) is also bevelled (bevel 19). When the pushrod (7) is being screwed in, during each revolution an engagement of the bevels (18, 19) takes place and consequently a securing in position against an unintentional loosening of the pushrod (7) in the coupling piece (5). <IMAGE>
