PURPOSE:To improve control accuracy of the length of a raw stock to be cut, by calculating accurate contact point of a flying crop shear blades and the raw stock for correcting the raw stock thickness even if the raw stock thickness changes. CONSTITUTION:When a raw stock 1 is cut, positions where an upper blade Bu of a flying crop shear is made contact with the raw stock and an lower blade Bd of it is made contact with the raw stock 1 are calculated by a predetermined numerical formula for correcting a raw stock thickness H. Control accuracy of the length of the raw stock to be cut is improved because the contact points of the raw stock and blades can be calculated even if the thickness H or the raw stock 1 changes.
