The invention relates to a cutting drum (1) which carries nozzles (6) on its basic body (2) or on the helical driver strips (3) of its basic body (2). They start from recesses (10) which are distributed uniformly over the periphery of the basic body (2) and lead out either at the end face of the basic body (2) facing the working face or at the peripheral surface of the basic body (2) or at the peripheral surface of the bore (16) of the basic body (2). All recesses (10) are closed off at their outlet plane, and each of them is connected to a radial feed line (13).
