Locking device for cylindrical tubes sliding inside one another. The invention relates to a device making it possible to lock tubes sliding inside one another by a simple rotation in either direction, right or left. It consists of a part 1 fitting snugly into the end of a small tube, a stop collar 3, an eccentric pivot 2, a washer with an eccentric hole, flexible friction studs slightly larger than the inner diameter of the large tube allowing the rotation of the eccentric washer to be braked by slight friction, and a rim 6 stopping the washer from escaping when it is engaged in the pivot. <IMAGE>
