PURPOSE:To rationalize production, by covering the blade portion of a blade member with cemented carbide alloy powder by use of water soluble resin liquid after making sprayed coating of silver solder to the blade portion and blazing the cemented carbide to it. CONSTITUTION:Nickel based silver solder is sprayingly coated on the blade portion of a blade member formed by strip shaped tool alloy steel at a temperature less than 700 deg.. Then, water soluble resin liquid is applied to the blade portion and cemented carbide alloy powder is coveringly deposited on it. After that, it is heated to a temperature of 1,050 deg.C in a furnace with a reducing atmosphere and then it is forcibly cooled. After that, it is heated in a furnace at a temperature of approximately 350 deg.C for an hour and then cooled gradually so that a spare blade for a jigsaw and the like is obtained. Since the spare blade can be produced in continuous processes, its production is rationalized.
