<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a compatibility period, by parallelly arranging oxidizing plates in a lateral direction and air bubbles injected from an air diffusing pipe are refluxed along with treated water at a high speed over the entire area in a chamber. CONSTITUTION:Waste water flows in a pretreatment chamber 3a from a receiving port 8 and flows in the contact treatment chamber 4 of the next stage. Compressed air is diffused from the air diffusion pipe 13 arranged to the central lower part of said chamber 4 and air bubbles thereof rise between a paper of oxidizing plates 9', 9'. The lower part of the space between the oxidizing plates 9', 9' are reduced in pressure by the quick rising of air bubbles and sewage moves to the lower part of the central position from left and right directions thereof. Further, sewage falls between oxidizing plates at left and right positions. By this method, the forming speed of a biofilm on each oxidizing plate 9 is promoted and sewage oxidizing capacity is enhanced.</p> |
