Resistance thermometer for temperature measurement in large electrical machines

An easily calibrated resistance thermometer for temperature measurements in large electrical machines, which can not be affected by interfering voltages and exhibits high dielectric strength, consists of a carrier housing of laminated fabric which is equipped with grooves in which the supply lines and the measurement winding are embedded. Both contact points between supply lines and measurement winding are located in the front area of the carrier housing, both supply lines running over the entire length of the carrier housing and thus with the measurement winding forming two opposite windings of a coil.
