PURPOSE:To carry out thread fastening in a few positions at high speed by disposing a turn over portion for turning over an installing member, a thread fastening portion for thread fastening the member to be installed the installing member, and means for conveying the installing member at a constant pitch. CONSTITUTION:After an X-Y table 11 is moved under a single axis thread fastening portion 31, threads fed through a hose 41 from a thread supply device 38 are fastened one each to a casing 12 by means of an electric screwdriver 40 and a lid 21 for the casing is secured. When thread fastening of the surface is finished, the X-Y table 11 is moved under a turn over portion 30. Then, a holder 36 and a turn over mechanism 37 descend along a slidable shaft 34 and after the casing 12 is held by the holder 36, the holder 36 and the turn over mechanism 37 ascend. While the turn over mechanism 37 is ascending it returns the casing 12 to the original position on the X-Y table 11. Thereafter, similar operations are repeated and all of thread fastening processes are finished.
