PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce the number of color replacing times without applying trouble to storage buffer function or other process, by dividing a plurality of lanes of a storage into an indicated color lane and a general color lane and properly controlling the feed-in and feed-out with respect to each lane. CONSTITUTION:Limit switches 12 are provided to the entrance and exit of a storage 10 to detect the taking-out and-in of a work. The painting color of the arrival work is discriminated by an upper rank computer 16 through a car kind discrimination apparatus 14 to feed said work to a lane concerned. If the lane concerned is full, said work is fed to an empty lane. A discrimination apparatus 24 for confirming the fed-out vehicle is arranged in a feed-out side and the work of the same painting color is continuously fed out through an operation apparatus 18 and a control panel. When there is no work of the same painting color, works are fed out from a lane exceeding the tolerant number of works and the work exceeding a set stagnation time is preferentially fed out.
