PURPOSE:To miniaturize the size and to reduce weight of a photographing device and, at the same time, to prevent picture blurring and to reduce power consumption with the device, by providing a rotational supporting means which supports a holding means under a condition where the holding means can freely be rotated around a position about the center of gravity of the holding means and a center of gravity correcting means so as to prevent the movement of the position of the center of gravity even when a focusing or variable-power lens is moved. CONSTITUTION:Shaking of a lens tube 59 following a video camera is detected by angular velocity censors 93 and 94 and a control circuit 95 controls so as to make outputs from the sensors 93 and 94 zero. Accordingly, the shaking of the lens tube 59 against absolute coordinates can be eliminated and picture blurring in both horizontal and vertical directions can be reduced. When, for example, focusing is made, the position of the center of gravity of the lens tube 59 is change, but, by moving such a focusing correction bob 56 that its center of gravity is almost on the optical axis of a focusing lens regardless of the attitude of the lens tube 59 when the focusing lens is moved in the direction opposite to the moving direction of the focusing lens, the change in the position of the center of gravity of the lens tube 59 is prevented. At the time of zooming, a variable power correction bob 60 is moved in the direction, in which the change in the position of center of gravity is prevented by the 4th cam groove.
