PURPOSE:To form an image of good quality without being affected by scattered toner by providing a developing means, an image exposing means in a photosensitive body, and shield members at opening parts at both ends of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Opening parts of the photosensitive body 1 are supported by flanges 10 and 11 and the flange 10 is supported on a stepped shaft 13 through a bearing 12-1. This stepped shaft 13 is fixed to the side wall 14 of an image recording device. The flange 11 is supported on the stepped shaft 13 through a bearing 12-2. Therefore, the photosensitive body 1 is rotatable around the stepped shaft 13. A gear 15 at the outer peripheral part of an end part of the flange 10 is rotated by an unshown motor and the photosensitive body 1 rotates in a necessary direction. An image exposing means 3 and an electrostatic discharging light source 9 are provided to the fixed stepped shaft 13. A shield member 14-1 which prevents toner scattered from the photosensitive body 1 from entering the device is fitted to the side wall 14 of the device and a shield member 4-2 is fitted to the side of the flange 11 through a washer with a nut. Consequently, the blurring or absence of an image or an irregularity in image density due to the scattered toner is eliminated to improve the image quality. |
