PURPOSE:To seal a part between a driving shaft and a lower frame accurately and securely and prevent the leakage of refrigerant by providing a bearing to said lower frame which supports said driving shaft, and opposing the projected wall of said lower frame to the extension part of the inner ring of said bearing. CONSTITUTION:A lower frame 7 is provided on the lower part of a motor and forms an intake passage 8 which passes through the motor, while supporting the lower part of a driving shaft 6. A radial bearing 9 which bearing supports the lower part of the driving shaft 6 is provided on the lower frame 7. The bearing 9 consists of an inner ring 91 which is fixed to the lower position of the driving shaft 6, an outer ring 92 which is installed to the lower frame 7, and a rolling element 93. And, an extension part 91a is provided on the inner ring 91 to make its axial length longer than that of the outer ring 92. On the other hand, a projecting wall 7b which is inwardly directed in the radial direction, is provided in an integrated form with the upper position of the holding site 7a for the outer ring 92 of the lower frame 7. Thereby, the projected wall 7b is opposed to the extension part 91a, achieving the desired end.
