PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and size and to realize high integration by equalizing the 1st output signal position in terms of time as to any terminal leading-out. CONSTITUTION:When row electrodes of a liquid crystal display panel are led out in a one-terminal direction, an R/L' terminal is set to 0, a B/S' terminal to 0, H2/H1' to 1, D/P' terminal to 0, and a Low' terminal to 1. When the electrodes are led out in both right and left terminal directions, the R/L' terminal is set to 1, the B/S' terminal to 1, the H2/H1' terminal to 0, the D/P' terminal to 0, and the Low' terminal to 1 for right-terminal directional leading-out. Then when the electrodes are led out in the left terminal direction, the R/L' terminal is set to 0 and others are the same as those in the right-terminal directional leading-out. Then the 1st output signal in case of the one-terminal directional leading-out and that in the both left and right directional leading-out are outputted at the same position in terms of time. Consequently, the power consumption is small, the size is reduced, and high integration is realized.
