PURPOSE:To measure suitably the fuel jet quantity by providing a fuel volume detecting part for detecting displacement quantity of a diaphragm, a device for pressurizing a back pressure chamber, and a fuel discharge part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A back pressure chamber 37 is pressurized to a prescribed pressure, and connected to a fuel jet chamber 36 through a diaphragm 31. In this state, the pressure of the back pressure chamber 37 is held in a prescribed differential pressure from the pressure of a discharge chamber by a differential pressure holding means such as a prescribed difference pressure reducing valve 59, etc. Accordingly, a displacement quantity of the diaphragm 31 corresponding to a fuel jet quantity is detected by a displacement quantity detecting means (a transmission part 55), etc., and based on it, the fuel jet quantity is derived by a fuel jet arithmetic means (a measurement control part 5, etc.), and also after a fuel jet is ended by a fuel discharge control means (a valve drive unit 14, etc.), discharge valves 7-10 are brought to an open valve control in accordance with the calculated fuel jet quantity, by which the volume of the fuel jet chamber 36 is restored to the volume before the fuel jet, and the measurement of the fuel jet quantity can be continued exactly.
